A house-shaped frame with a window onto the room.
The Jorun is a queen platform built from pine and MDF, framed by 15.3-inch guardrails shaped into a fence-and-window motif. The effect is a little rustic, a little storybook, without tipping into clutter.
The joinery is quiet in use, and two drawers beneath the platform take sheets, off-season clothes, and whatever else needs a home. Pre-drilled holes and a step-by-step manual keep assembly manageable.
