The Alvar is a queen platform in solid pine and MDF. A storage shelf is built into the headboard, four drawers sit beneath the frame, and four more open from the foot of the bed; two of the headboard compartments close behind small doors for more private things.

Wood slats keep the mattress from sliding and remove the need for a box spring. Everything ships in one packed box with parts, tools, and instructions.

Meant for storage-starved main bedrooms, studios, and guest rooms doing double duty.
